Facilities ready to roll

It is all looking hugely impressive, both literally and metaphorically. Our brand-new assembly and finishing hall, which measures a staggering 69 x 20 metres, has now been delivered by the contractor to HJB. Yard personnel are now finishing the technical areas and making the final adjustments required to bring the wealth of new equipment online.

The new three-story building that will house all the workshops and support divisions is also being fitted out. Add in our existing construction hall (45 x 20 metres) and you have a yard of exceptional sophistication that can build yachts of up to 65 metres in length while simultaneously carrying out three other build or refit projects.

The facility will be running at full efficiency by the time Athos is nestled in the new hall in a few weeks time. The arrival of the hull of this giant schooner will be a momentous moment both in yachting history and in the life of Holland Jachtbouw… And a great way to commission our new facilities!
