This 152-foot schooner made headlines around the world after breaking the Transatlantic crossing record in 2002 and 2005. But her low freeboards, dashing sheer and long sweet overhangs had already made Windrose a favourite among classic connoisseurs. She also won the ShowBoats Award for Highest Technical Achievement.

Thoroughly modern from keel bulb to mast truck, her ocean racing performance was enhanced by a stringent weight programme. Constructed in Alustar, Windrose has an ultra-light interior and carbon-fibre spars. At the same time, the luxurious and carefully laid out interior ensures Windrose is a successful charter yacht, with a wealth of space for relaxation and toys.
