Launched in 2000, Palmyre was the first Truly Classic 80. We built her in partnership with the designers, Hoek Naval Architects, and a highly experienced Dutch owner. Palmyre‘s many distinguishing characteristics include a deck full of skylights that flood her interior with natural light, giving the saloon a warm Mediterranean atmosphere.
She also has the latest hydraulic winches, making her sail trim a matter of pushing buttons with one’s feet. Like all Truly Classics, this yacht has a hull form refined from the great designs of Fife, Watson, Herreshoff, and Nicholson. Suitable both for family sailing and for sailing with crew, Palmyre was nominated for the 2002 International Superyacht Design Award. |
