PATRIOT UPDATE: PREPARING FOR PAINT

Work on “Patriot” is moving steadily forward as the project enters the next visible stage of the refit.

The team from Thraki Yacht Painting has now started the preparation for the exterior paintwork. Large parts of the yacht are being sanded, faired and carefully prepared to create the smooth surface that is required before the new paint system can be applied.

At the same time, the technical teams continue their work on board. Several access points have been created so that the technical work can progress while the exterior preparation is underway. This allows different teams to work efficiently alongside each other, without interrupting the overall progress of the project.

As a result, work continues both inside and outside the yacht at the same time. Each step is bringing “Patriot” closer to the rebuilding phase of her refit.
